Steve W. Thompson is a great man. Seriously great. Are we being hyperbolic? Yes. But, he’s a real cool dude and we at Temple Horses are officially making him a part of our stable! Steve has edited several of our comedy sketches, including our TV pilot, “Watch This Drunk,” that includes our award-winning short, “You’re Not That Crazy,” Around the Horn: Gun Control, Meant to Be a Caveman, and The Cat Adoption, which he also directed.

Below are quotes from Temple Horses founders, Ryan E. Hoffman and Nick Ruggia:

Ryan: Steve has been an incredibly reliable friend and colleague in the short amount of time he’s been working with us. He has consistently edited at a high level and is probably the biggest reason our video quality has taken a quantum leap over the past six months. Making him an official member of Temple Horses was a no-brainer.

Nick: Editors that can cut content, select takes and color correct are a dime a dozen. Obviously Steve has all those skills, but what makes him really special as an editor is his feel for editing comedy. You can easily edit the funny right out of one of our videos by cutting too soon or lingering too long on basically anything. There’s a music to sketch pacing, and Steve hears it more than any other editor I’ve had the opportunity to work with.

And to make it really official, you can now find Steve’s bio on The Temple Horses page. Oh, and he and I (DV) are In a Relationship on Facebook.
